The Microsoft Access program is a Relational Database program we use to create Databases. Once a Database is created, we can create Tables inside the database containing any type of information we need. After the database is completed we can easily create Reports using selected information, or run a Query (an advanced search) to find specific information.
Microsoft Access is easy to use, and will allow the user to work in multiple Tables with the same field names at the same time. In other words, any Tables with identical field names, such as First Name or Last Name, are related by the field names. These Tables can be searched simultaneously to locate specific information. This is also the reason that Microsoft Access is a Relational Database program.

Below is an example of a Database Table. The Table contains eight field names: Last, First, Team, League, Position, Birthday, Price, and Condition. Once the field names have been decided on and keyed into the Table in design view, records can be easily entered and edited.
