English speaking children may also participate in bilingual education programs to become proficient in two languages.		Niños que dominan el inglés también pueden participar, beneficiarse y enriquecerse con este programa al llegar a tener fluidez en dos idiomas.

YES! All students in Bilingual Education must receive instruction in the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) in their native language and English.		¡SÍ! Todos los estudiantes en el programa tienen que recibir enseñanza en las Destrezas y Conocimientos Escenciales de Tejas (TEKS) en su primer idioma y en inglés.
YES! Language Arts, Reading, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies are taught as part of the state mandated curriculum.		¡SÍ! Las Artes del Lenguaje, Lectura, Matemáticas, Ciencias y Estudios Sociales son el currículo fundamental establecido por el estado.

Your approval is required to allow your child to participate and benefit in the program.		Usted puede aprobar que su niño participe y se beneficie del programa.
You can become a volunteer and help in classroom activities.		Usted puede participar como voluntario para ayudar en las actividades de las clases.
You can become involved at home by encouraging your child to achieve, providing him a place to study and showing interest in his schoolwork.		Usted puede ayudar en casa animando a su niño para que logre el éxito proporcionándole un lugar para estudiar y demostrandole interés en sus tareas escolares.
You can participate as a member of the Language Proficiency Assessment Committee (LPAC) that helps determine how students will be taught.
