Public Notification of Nondiscrimination in Career and Technology Education Programs
Pecos-Barstow-Toyah ISD offers Career and Technology Education Programs in Career Investigation, Agricultural Science, Technology Education, Business & Marketing Education, Consumer and Family Science, Law Enforcement, and Automotive Technology Education. Admission to these programs is based on interest, aptitude, and individual student needs.
It is the policy of Pecos-Barstow-Toyah ISD not to discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, or handicap in its vocational programs, services, or activities as required by the Title VI of the Civil Right Act of 1964, as amended: Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972; and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended.

CAREER AND TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION (CATE) is dedicated to preparing students to manage the dual roles of family member and wage earner. We want to enable the students to gain entry-level employment in a high-skill, high-wage job and /or to continue their education.
